Well, Stampede parade is now over and time to get back to the BIG picture. We have already had a few new members join and we have a few more coming out in the very near future. Funny how success breeds success !
Our next camp is scheduled for Saturday, August 29 / 10 AM – 4 PM. (Chapelhow Legion)
As well, as a special “Thank You” to everyone who marched the Stampede Parade, we will be holding “DCI Championship Finals” night from 6 PM ‘til ??? We have made arrangements to re-broadcast the “2009 DCI Finals” in their entirety and will show it in 5.1 surround sound stereo and on an 8 FOOT SCREEN !!! All those who marched will be admitted FREE of charge as well as one guest of their choice. ANYONE else is more than welcome to attend at a cost of $10 per person at the door. A cash bar will be available. This should be a spectacular fun evening for all those in attendance and we will also be announcing some exciting news at that time.
The drumline is now preparing for the I & E contest at the International “Shake” convention where they will be competing Oct. 16-18 in Hamilton, Ontario.
Currently, the next full ensemble performance is scheduled for Wednesday, November 11.
However, with many requests coming in every week this may be changed.
Don’t forget, regular rehearsals are Tuesday nights 7:30 -10 PM for brass and the drumline
rehearses Thursday nights from 7 – 10 PM. Both are held at the AE offices.
#15, 3650 19 St. NE
Any and everyone is welcome at any time !! Why not stop by and check things out !!!
